1972
 

Vision of our forefathers brings us to Dubai.

 
 
1975
 

Established a General Trading License and set up a shop at the Old Spice Market, Al Ras, Deira.

 
 
1980
 

Working on trade of perishable items, the company flourished with its fleet of employees and vans. The companys main focus was Vegetables, Spices and Rice.

 
 
1990
 

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, the company now had several leading brands of Pakistan under its portfolio namely Rafhan, Ahmed Foods, Medicam, English Biscuits, Red and White, K2 Etc.

 
 
2011 to 2014
 

In 2011, Shafi Brothers & Company acquired another leading brand of Pakistan called Youngs, and the family grew.

Till date Shafi Brothers strives to increase market share and penetration of their family brands.

After spending the past 41 years in the Distribution Business, I feel very privileged to be writing this message. We began our journey in 1972, and have spent the past decade continuing to build our brand, which has now become synonymous with our commitment to helping our clients share knowledge and create innovation.

As a company, we have seen much change over the past 40 years. For example:

  • We have nearly quadrupled our workforce and have embraced diversity.
  • We have doubled our number of brands
  • We have doubled our fleet of cars
  • We have continuously increased our market share.
  • We have expanded our presence all over UAE and also to the re-export market.

 It is also important to note what has not changed at Shafi Brothers, namely our commitments to providing exceptional client service and to living our core values: Excellence in Everything, Leadership by Example, Integrity and Transparency, Focus on the Client and Employee Centered.
